In West Seattle, a growing family was in need of more space for the teens to relax. So, the goal was to convert a garage into livable basement space. Who uses their Seattle garage to park their cars anyway, right?
By closing off the garage door and opening up the wall between the garage and the existing basement, Sunbreak Homes was able to maximize the living space, while at the same time providing a new walk-in entrance to the home on the ground level.
Topped off by custom storage spaces and a loft for hanging-out, the teens now have plenty of room for games and homework. And Dad still has the driveway.
